For students, AYCE offers part-time jobs and Summer Jobs Services.

Students Looking for Part-time Jobs

AYCE offers assistance year-round to students looking for part-time jobs.  The resource centre is fully equipped with many resources including:

  • Internet access.
  • Videos on careers and job search topics.
  • Business directories and college and university calendars.
  • Books about resumes, interviews and job search techniques.

Summer Jobs Service

Through the Summer Jobs Services program, which runs each year from April to the end of August, AYCE helps youth seeking employment during the summer months.

Eligibility

Summer Jobs Service is geared to 15 to 30 year old students who are returning to school in the Fall semester.

Program Benefits

  • Employer Connections: Once students are registered with the Summer Job Service at AYCE, they are able to connect with employers through job development support and job fairs.
  • Training: Students can also participate in all training workshops offered at AYCE.

How to Register

To register for the Summer Jobs Service, please print the Participant Information Form, complete it and bring it in to AYCE.  It is also possible to walk into AYCE and complete a registration form.
