The Ontario Self-Employment Benefit (OSEB) Program Information Session
The Ontario Self-Employment Employment Benefit (OSEB) Program provides a competitive edge for those wishing to start their own business. The program provides eligible unemployed applicants selected through competition, with
- 10 weeks of comprehensive business training
- 32 weeks practical advisory assistance
- income support for up to 42 weeks.
An interested eligible individual with a business idea and a goal to become self-employed can benefit from participating in the program and achieve success. If you are:
- eligible to receive or already receives Employment Insurance (EI) or
- had been on EI in the past 36 months (60 months for those who had maternity/parental benefits),
and have the desire to start your own venture, you should explore this opportunity by attending our Orientation Session.
