Job Search Workshop for Newcomers (2 day session)

This is a two day session.

January 30: 1pm - 4pm

January 31: 1pm - 4pm

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Job Search Workshop, you must be a Permanent Resident, Landed Immigrant, Convention Refugee or Live-in Caregiver. Participants also need at least an intermediate level of English.

Workshops
The Job Search Program helps recent immigrants to Canada develop the skills needed to find employment in the shortest possible time.

These culturally-sensitive workshops include topics such as:

• The Canadian labour market.
• Developing effective resumes and cover letters.
• Networking to access the hidden job market.
• Creating an employment action plan.
• Interview practice.
